I love everything fashion, skincare, and makeup, but when it comes to hair...well... lets face it, I pretty much have had the same hair style since high school, and although that was only last year ;-), it is time for change!

When it comes to hair, I get a little nervous. Unlike fashion or makeup, once you have made a change, it takes a while to "undo" that change if you are not happy. Therefore, I needed a stylist I could trust. Who better to do the job than April Rankin, Master Stylist and Owner of Pageboy Salon. This girl is known for her color skills and is ALWAYS up to date with the latest hair trends.
After sitting in April's chair and discussing the boredom with my "safe" hairstyle choices, she came to the conclusion that the edgy, but also classy, reverse ombre would be the perfect look for me. April then custom mixed 2 colors that would fit the equation for my hair type, porosity, and the chosen trend.
Needless to say, I was pleased with the outcome and am completely in love with my new, edgier hair style.

Urban Dictionary
Ombre: hair color fading from dark to light, or vice versa. Instead of the color starting from the roots, it gradually becomes lighter, or darker, towards the ends. The word "ombre" in French means shadow or shade. Think Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City, Rachel Bilson, Whitney Port.

Want to get bombshell hair without a cut or color change? Visit Pageboy Salon between 6-8 pm for Blowout Happy Hour! For $20 you can get your hair washed and blown out, but hurry, this special price is only valid through October!
